I tried several times, but I can't make myself read these two, though I would like to picture his writing style in regard to his book on India.
The difficulties reside in the font chosen for the articles, and how they scanned, something to keep in mind when it comes to my own work. Even on the computer, they are hard to read. I will have to wait for a chance to read them in daylight to see what happens.

Ah, a lesson in typography itself! I hope the type was easier to read in the daylight -- but the alternative is to read the PAPER versions, in the library. (Which we tend to forget about ... )
